Cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development

Basis for the creation and purpose of the bank

Agreement on the establishment of the bank was signed in Paris on 29 May 1990. This Agreement entered into force on 28 March 1991.. The Bank maintains an open, market-oriented, economic, entrepreneurial individual long-term initiatives in Central and Eastern Europe; as well as comprehensive economic reforms, including against monopolization and facilitating the entry of these countries into the global economy. To achieve these objectives, the Bank cooperates, as with its members, and in the normal course of business, as well as with the Monetary Fund, the International Finance Corporation and the United Nations.

Cooperation with State Commercial Bank "Turkmenbashi" Turkmenistan

Between the Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development on 22 July of 2010 was entered into a loan agreement to finance small and medium-sized enterprises established and operating in Turkmenistan. As part of the Credit Agreement are granted funds for lending to small and medium-sized enterprises and businessmans.

Cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development includes the following types of additional technical assistance:

  1. Receive in the future through the subsidiary bank loan funds on the basis of acceptable criteria for a draft agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development
  2. For support of the bank to carry out the assessment and monitoring of banking technologies and customers
  3. Receive counseling in order to increase the impact of organizational structure
  4. Assistance to enhance the impact of services provided to individual enterprises
  5. Assistance for the organization of professional and practical training in order to support the promotion of the individual sector
